Introducing Me!
I graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising Los Angeles (FIDM) and has graduated with three different degrees:
Associates of Arts in Merchandise Product Development
Advanced Associates of Arts in International Manufacturing and Product Development
Bachelors of Science in Business Management
I was born in Ranchi, a small town in North India, but was raised in Seattle since I was a baby. I found passion for fashion and inclusivity after going through self-esteem issues and bullying while in school. This was my catalyst to motivate me to want to enter the industry with the idea to help other individuals who struggle with proportions due to their height as well as size.
Through my commitment for pursuing her passion, I was awarded the City of Bellevue Youthlink Creative and Innovative Thinker Award in June of 2019 for my project in raising awareness of the power of alterations, and finding clothes that make one feel confident. I also got opportunities to take my passion to new levels while at FIDM, interning for Abercrombie & Fitch, startups MySocialCanvas and Coven Magazine to show these companies as well as influential people in the industry that inclusivity isn’t just one spectrum, but a myriad of opportunity. With my industry knowledge, and valuable community, I hope to pave a way in the industry and am seeking roles within Design, Product Development and Production, to give girls the knowledge of knowing they have something that fits them right, from the start.
